The bad thing about Obama

It’s his supporters. Here’s what annoys me about them:

a). The excessive use of “YES WE CAN” everywhere. You actually sound like mindless idiots, oh hey. Or worse, “YES WE DID” – we’re not done fixing everything yet.
b). Supporting Obama because he’s either young or black or has a nice voice… Yes, because policies don’t mean a thing. I really hate people on Bebo sometimes.

I’m so glad he won. But also terrified that everyone’s going to be so caught up with idolising him that they’re not going to notice the things he’ll do wrong – let alone call him out on it. He’s the best shot we have, but you’re kidding yourself to think he’s going to be perfect. That he’s going to be the amazing president the campaign promised.

…Even if I will save pictures of him looking particularly nice, ahaha. Yaaayy.

But if the concept OBAMA IS HUMAN is too hard to grasp, watch videos of his first press conference as president elect. Watch his hands, even. He’s freaking out.
