Because even with the likes of Batsu, and my own personal fangirling tendancies, I didn’t think they were all that bad. Don’t be hating the enthusiastic kids!
Then this happened.
“His combination of psychoticness and really kawaii bishiness = god”
‘Cos Kyo’s all about kawaii bishiness. Oh lawdy.
“I would marry Kyo too, he’s pretty and looks like he would be a good husbend^^…
Maybe it’s just me, but I don’t look at Kyo and think “Damn, he’d be a good husband”. It might have something to do with all the vomit, blood, and general morbidness – not the easiest things to clean up.
But he is pretty. Outrageously so – just look at him. Ahh, bliss.
…As for me, I came across this gold when I was trying to find out if Kaoru was married (don’t look at me like that!), to be distracted by someone asking if there was a wedding band on Kyo’s finger.
…I had to know!
So I’ve been at my hall of residence for many days now. Lectures have only started this week, but I’ve been leeeeaaaarning.
new friends > old friends…
Where you have new friends that you can talk to a lot easier than the ones back at high school. We match people up to animals, try to make dead insects our pets, breathe helium, and consider ourselves a family. Aww. I love these guys. Then the old friends from high school you run into are way more awkward (not all that hard to believe when they leap out of nowhere waving stuff at you).
the value of money
I’m now having to buy things for myself, and finally I understand why people go on so much about Starbucks being so expensive. $7 for a frappucino? For a drink? Lucky it’s easy to rationalise how much I deserve it.
i ♥ high-speed internet
It’s like joining the renaissance! Never again will I have to decide against watching a video more than 2 minutes long. I watched the first episode of Sayonara Zetsubou Sensei for the first time ever on YouTube and it was totally awesome (although there were some weird teacherxstudent innuendoes I could have done without… did I miss them in the manga?). I can also be nerdy and watch Obama “dancing” on the Ellen Degeneres show. So cool.
laundry is an art
My mum sent me a laundry guide. It’s exactly three pages long in 12pt Times New Roman. Saturday will be my first laundry day, and sorting things will be hard enough alone. Whites, darks, delicates… woe that I had such a privileged life until now. And I still have to buy the laundry detergenty-stuff; there’s at least 100 different kinds! Aaaahhh!
….I’m turning into a big person. :O
Of course, IRL people can just ignore this entire post, having already heard me rant about it a hundred times, hahahaha
I don’t believe people could actually buy their bags because they like the style. Their stupid name splattered across everything overpowers the design, and that’s what you’re buying: some famous name. Which is fine if you’re a mindless shopper who just wants to look expensive. And while you’re at it, go buy a Mac, and let everyone know how super trendy you are!
Don’t argue with me, I’m right.
And if you can’t afford Louis Vuitton? You buy Guess, hahah, and their bags are just as hideous, if not more, and this comes from the girl who wants a magenta trenchcoat of satin.
But spam for Louis Vuitton fakes? On my domain? If you’re using FanUpdate, it’s more likely than you think.
Oh lol. But seriously, spammers, I’m deeply offended. Don’t you be selling my visitors that stuff.
When w3.org congratulates on you on your valid coding, and reward you by letting you link to them, they give you this address:
http://validator.w3.org/check?uri=referer
The part where it says ‘referer’? You change that to your own address, so people can click it and see for themselves whether you really do pass the validation test or not. You’re not supposed to leave it the way it’s given to you: clicking the ‘referer’ version takes you to an error page.
For example!:
http://validator.w3.org/check?uri=http://panda-duh.org
By the way, click that. Is that valid XHTML Strict 1.0? You bet your ass it is. ;D
So many people, with their beautiful layouts, (hopefully inadvertently) keep the ‘referer’ part there. And I weep. I’m actually willing to bet there are actually more people doing that than replacing it with their address.
So come on, tweak that little URL, and er, join the revolution! I can’t handle this much stress, u gaiz.
…Until Dunedin has to brace itself for my arrival. After that I’ll be living away from home for, um, a really long time.
The friends I’ve talked to so far say things like, “its guna b super scary!
“, and tell me I’m going to have to console them. In less than a week, those people will be wishing there was someone else to hug them and make them feel all better. Mwahaha.
But I’m not worried. A little perplexed, maybe. Two suitcases, and I’m still nowhere near finished packing. Arrh.
…Yes, I’ll be the one who refused to choose between the three soft toys, let alone going with none of them. The one who has to have all sorts of books in Latin, who thinks they’re clever for bringing their own printer. And needed to take the bottle of Platinum Egoiste, because the world would fall apart if they couldn’t smell like Gackt. Yes, I will be that pretentious brat with tons of stuff, and you will be the one to carry it all. ♥
Even so, there’s a Cadbury hot chocolate set (complete with mini whisk!) that was given to me as Christmas present. In January. Yes. I don’t think I’ll be able to fit it in anymore. I now have absolutely no choice but to eat all the marshmellows and gulp down all the drinking chocolate.
…What a pity.
Still not worried. It’s hard to be worried when you can spend hours drifting around your My Pictures folder, deciding on which images to print out (ON YOUR PERSONAL PRINTER, NO LESS) and put on so your room looks super awesome. It’s on par to meditation. Then you’re distracted looking at the Shikaku and Dragonfly photobooks, which have so many nifty pictures in them, slowly realising that your epic collage is going to have more Dir en grey in it than planned. How to even this out? Will anyone notice? Hmm.
There is a lot to sort out. (Meanwhile, correspondence from StudyLink is lying around being ignored…)
